About Us

We exist to welcome people into a life of worship, formation, and friendship centered on Jesus Christ.

Church of the Good Shepherd was planted in November 2025, and in God's kindness, we have grown into a thriving community — day by day, in His grace.

We are an Anglican church (ACNA) made up almost entirely of first-generation Anglicans. Most of us came from non-denominational or Baptist backgrounds, though we warmly welcome people from any tradition — or none at all. We're grateful for the churches that formed us, but we were drawn to a depth and beauty in the Anglican tradition.

We are a traditional church, but not overly formal. Sunday mornings include elements that may be new to some visitors — a weekly confession of sins, the reciting of ancient Christian creeds, and a Gospel processional in which a cross and Bible enter the sanctuary as a reminder of who we are: a people of the cross, rooted in the Word of God. None of this is random. Every element carries theological meaning, and we love talking through the why behind what we do.

In short, we are a community that loves the Lord our God, prays with the church across the centuries, and genuinely enjoys being together. We'd love for you to join us.
